AUSTIN POLICE DEPARTMENT - aka APD

too many years have I seen this corrupted police station ruin lives all over Austin Texas - yet yesterday they received several awards

innocent citizens have been shot and killed while unarmed, multiple times

murderers run free in this town getting little more than a slap on the wrist

domestic abuse cases ARE NOT HANDLED THE WAY THEY WOULD HAVE YOU BELIEVE

in Texas, you can apparently beat the shit out of someone, so long as they've allowed you to have sex with them at some point during their lifetime - domestic abuse laws apparently do not apply in this city - WTF???

I could go on and on, but I'll let the others chime in on this one

Yes, I'm bitching because I'm currently dealing with them regarding a friend's murder. No, I cannot give any more specifics about the case, simply because we need to do everything we can to make sure this guy goes behind bars for good this time, not like last time when he was in custody for a whole 15 FUCKING MINUTES for attempted murder.

This time, he's goin down!

It's not just the east side po folks either. APD disregards almost all it's citizens equally... the innocent ones at least.

How many women have to suffer before a man gets punished for his crimes ? How many families have to suffer when a woman is murdered at the hahnds of her abuser- even after she has left him?

In general- these losers have records as lng as my arm and walk the streets.

In this instance- this man has abused several women. He also used to beat up bums for fun. He has stalked and threatened people.

Yet- he has slipped through the cracks of the legal system.

Why was he not monitored? Why has he been allowed freedom after these documneted acts of violence - especially after the attempted murder charge?

This sickens me.

I am a firm believer in" What goes around ".......you know the rest.....he will get what is due to him......in some instancs i wish the "eye for an eye" rule was still around....some people just dont get it....even in prison.....they are still alive and eating and coversing with others.....what kind of prison is it when you get to make new friends....eat 3 meals a day....phone calls....work out ....smoke......PALEEEEESE! Eye for an eye sounds pretty good to me....esp. if itsyour family member...you want REVENGE!

I don't know much about the situation.

But, since you guys are committed to creating change, you could, rally some troops and put some serious media pressure on the Mayor. He or she wants to get re-elected, so they should make shit happen to keep their job.

Now, an interesting place to start might be one of the Mayors competitors, who wants to take the current Mayors place? Find this person.....

This is the leverage ( I think)
