iPOD SCHMIPOD - GIMME A DAMN WALKMAN!!!

OK so I'm sloooooooowly catching up with technology. Went shopping for a portable music player this weekend and my jaw hit the floor!

Ummmm, these things were $20 - $50 back in the day for a cassette or CD player - requiring mechanical parts as well as electronics, logic, etc.

These things, MP3 players, picture viewers are tiny, have NO mechanical parts, ONLY electronic etc and yet I'm looking at having to drop $250 to get what I want. GRRRRRRRR They're gouging because they can, and I think it sux!

I sell custom-designed electronics - I know what this stuff costs - as well as NREC, overhead, production costs etc. They're raping people's wallets for the newest thing. Crazy thing is 7 people bought one while I was musing over the extreme cost.

When I realized I could buy a brand new shotgun and 100 shells for the same price... well, I went to the gun store instead. Yeah, I'm Texan alright~

Only way I'm gettin one of them things is if they knock that price tag down about 75% or just GIMME ONE!!

haha! We are going to get our contest going heopfully by end of next week or so. We have been working on a slight redesign of the site in order to ad better/ easier navigation and the video bitches. We are running behind schedule but, we're working as fast as possible.
