Why can't we be like Emi & Steve: A Human Story
hola!
Do you ever get tired of your surroundings and say damn, why don't I just move somewhere really really cool?
Well, for me this happens like every (5) years or so. We spent (8) years in San Diego, then returned home to Fort Worth. Yep, we've been here for about a year and I am totally ready to move! Like right now......But, damn, is it worth it? The cost, the moving, the new job, and all of the other things that moving brings.
I think yes!
Or hell, what about takin' a bicycle tour of the US or Eurpoe, or just say screw it and get a sail boat and just set sail. hmmmmm So, many options.
Here's a really awesome story of a couple who basically biked around the world together.
What do you think? Yeah, if you have kids, this is obviously really tough to do but, if not, what's really stoppin you?
Emi & Steve are an amazing example, please check out their story ;+}

I agree with doing what makes you happy wholeheartedly! My fiance and I have known each other for 18 years, and have been together as a couple for 2 years. In the past 2 years I have lived so much happiness with him. We've already got plans to travel 'soon as the littlest is 18. Setting goals on where we wanna go, and what we wanna accomplish in this life together.
Until that day we still work on achieving our current dreams of having chickens in our backyard and selling eggs to pay for the feed, not to mention the fact that we get 6 fresh organic eggs every day. We took out all the flowers in the front yard and planted vegetables instead so everything we have to water, will be food for us! Yummy!
We have two pet goats, just because we both wanted pet goats since we were children, and said why not? We have breakfast for dinner and go target practice together whenever we like. We live for what makes us happy.
Yeah, we have jobs, bills and responsibilities, but we refuse to let those things rule our emotions or our lives!

Having kids doesn't stop you. We traveled around Europe for a year, lived in France, with our 1YO. Then, when our preemie twins were 7 weeks old, we moved because we didn't like where we lived... and we DID like Asheville, NC. We wanted to LIKE where we lived. That may be inconvenient as far as the moving/expense, etc. (and trust me, it definitely was inconvenient moving three kids, including newborn twins, across several states). It was also very difficult traveling almost nonstop with a baby. But I don't regret it for a minute.
