Jerk-offs Who Park in Expecting and New Parent Spots
OK, this one really makes me nuts. I mean damn really crazy nuts. First of all, it comes from having two pregnancies that I would never want to relive (I don't care about you bitches who just lovveee being pregnant). I was on bed rest for 2.5 months on one. So needless to say, long parking lot walks in summer sucked. And then I had infant twins and a 3YO, and lugging them into anywhere sucked.
I always have thought it was cool that a few places have special stork parking. There's a problem, though. People park in them who aren't expecting or with new babies. Often.
One time I witnessed it when it particularly annoyed me. I was pulling into the grocery store, and I was actually alone. So it wasn't that I needed the spot. But as I pulled into another spot, some skank 50-something (maybe even older) woman pulled into the stork parking spot.
I saw no baby. I was pretty sure she was too old to be expecting (and I saw no belly on her), but I decided I couldn't be sure. So I went up to her and asked her directly if she was pregnant. She told me yes. (yeah, right!). Then she turnd around and asked, "What if I wasn't?"
I told her if she wasn't (yeah, if, yeah right) then she would be a selfish and rude witch for taking the space away from someone who actually needed it. To which she retorted that every pregnant woman is just fat and lazy anyway, and could use the exercise.
Oh yeah, you read that right.
I resisted the urge to key her car. I went into the store and proceeded to report her. The store said, unfortunately, they can't do a thing about it. Since it isn't a handicapped spot, the fact that it's for expecting and new parents is really just a suggestion.
That's just irritating. Companies actually do something to be considerate of customers who need a little extra help, but all the obnoxious and lazy morons out there can't just have the slightest bit of common decency.
But we can all sure make it a little less comfortable for the rude people who do this. Next time you see a lone man (I've seen that several times) or someone who obviously isn't expecting or with new babies, confront them and ask them to move their car and save it for someone who needs it.
Pitches
and you didn't say anything about how fat and lazy she was?
I hate that.

Oh, I did. I was really getting nasty with her. She caught me in a mood. I had to do some yoga breathin' or someone would have had to call in a cat fight! lol.

I had a woman once, yell at me that I had no business parking in that space. I was 6 months pregnant, but because I was already fat when I got pregnant, she just assumed I was just fat. I told her I was pregnant. She said, yeah, right, whatever. I was so embarressed. I wanted to cry.

Yeah, that was why I asked her. She was actually thin and looked about 50-something, but you never know. She said she was pregnant, but you really could tell she was lying because, for one thing, someone who was pregnant would never describe pregnant women as just fat and needing to do extra walking anyway! Hahah. So sorry you had to deal with that. That is obnoxious!
