The "L" Word.

Mankind in general sucks. Okay, maybe not mankind. Maybe it's the governments and leaders that really suck.

What is leadership anyway?

A chance to let your egoic self run amuck, trying to prove to yourself and others that you really KNOW what's good for the people?

So tell me, all you leaders of a nation and whatever else you claim to be a leader of ... before even leading groups of people etc ... how well do you LEAD yourself?

Do you keep your judgement in check?

Do you know what makes you get defensive and if so, do you know where it stems from? What are you doing to *heal* from it?

Before you aim to lead anything PLEASE see if you are doing a good job leadinng your SELF? Because if you have not gotten your act together, emotionally, psychologically, spiritually, then can you please get out of our faces.

It's not about LEADERSHIP people, it's about LOVE.

How well do you Love yourself? Do you respect your body? Do you give it the nutrition it needs?

If we go around trying to make things better .. we first need to make ourselves better. If not, then it'll be like little dis-eased states spreading more of a dis-eased state.

That is what disease is .. a dis - EASE in your body's biophysiological balance ...

and if you think it stops from there, think again.

If we don't respect our bodies on a cellular level, we certainly can't respect the earth or our environment on a 3D level and it goes on from there.

So before we even think about Leadership .. let's think of the other "L" word - Universal LOVE.

CARMEN, you have laid it out so "right on."

It is about LOVE. It's about how we treat each other in *every* single moment. Why are we ever "too busy", "too tired" "too (fill in the blank) to pay attention to the people around us.

You are so right. This is something I work on daily since we are taught to work, be successful, look sharp, talk right, this that, and every other bullshit demand that society (we) place on ourselves and on each other.

Now is "right now" and must be the only thing that's real.

and another *** AMEN *** to that! I'm giving you a standing ovation just for agreeing... and I did just now to.

I myself am guilty but that does not mean that I try really hard not to forget what is really important. Relationships are everything. It is not just relationships with people .. but with our environment, nature, countries, our bodies etc .. we all have a relationship with everything that exists. Every action we do, every thought we put out IS an energy that gets carried forward.

People laugh and mock me for believing this but I say it because I've lived it. I've learned the hard way and thank goodness I finally got smart... well, more aware anyway.

I was a nurse for 11 year. I learned about my prejudices and my weaknesses and my defenses. I first saw people as people. Then as individuals. They as souls .. then I took it further to look upon them as 'energies of love'. That was the basis of my nursing. That is still the basis of my humanity.

I commend you and your wife for working on this platform. WOW.

It is truly so empowering when people can share and comment and empower others. I believe that something truly will happen on this platform that WILL change the world for the better.

Small steps. Small baby steps in the right direction. I'm in.
