Why do I think sometimes the cops get the wrong people??? Or maybe should i say go after the wrong people...Shouldnt they be chasing murderers,rapists,burglers,drug dealers,child molesters,ect.....Where do I start??? Now you may not agree with me, butt every time i get stopped for speeding (10 mph) get stopped for not wearing a seatbelt,get a ticket for running over the solid lines while trying to pass and maybe getting a ticket for letting your car warm up in the driveway. I sometimes wonder couldnt they be spending their time doing a little something more fucking important.........

yep, it's by county here in Texas, and YES, they DEFINITELY have more important things to do. They'll actually police your garbage in Austin. Which is one of the million reasons why I moved to the country.
those fines are just revenue makers for the police dept - kinda like a fundraiser. They don't do bake sales or car washes. They hand out tickets. Bastards.
APD actually drove past me once as I was running from a carjacker. Drove right past even though I was running in the middle of the road waving my arms. I'm sure they were in hot pursuit of another ticket. It was a cab driver who stopped to help me.
