Leavin' tha state........

Soooo, now we have a legal issue.....when the husband wants to leave.......the wife wants to go back to her home state, with their 2 girls.......IS there a legal issue with this? He has not filed for divorce yet...JUST SEPARATED......they have only lived in the current place 1 year.....and had grew up in the home state......is there anything she needs to know before she makes this HUGE decision?

I believe that Texas has a reputation of protecting the wives/mothers. So she should be fine. However, she should just call an attorney and ask. Search for one online or the phone book. And if you are seperated, you don't have to live together by law. Heck, you don't even have to live together if you're married. :)
