flip flops are EVERYWHERE - EWWWW

What was once beach or at-home wear only has now become the ONLY footwear choice for so many, regardless of the occasion.

The past few years when I've been able to go out to eat at a nice restaurant I've noticed that more and more people think it's acceptable to wear flip flops with EVERY outfit they have, including suits. NEWSFLASH - most people don't wanna see your hairy toes when they're steppin out someplace fancy.

I've seen this at dance clubs too. Girls all decked out, lots of make-up, jewelry, a fabulous and expensive dress and fuckin flip flops! Guys do it too. All dressed up until you get to the bottom. What? Did everyone just give up? I mean, I know they're comfy but GEESH!

The final straw was at a wedding. And it wasn't just a guest wearing flip flops, oh no. One of the groomsmen wore his tux, with black sports team flip flops. :-P

I see what your saying...Although ive worn flops to eat...I think its a fad to get away with wearing flops in very dressy occasions...Kindof like rockstars going barefoot...

I am a flip-flopper.....so sorry buuut there are some really dainty.....or even somewhat up-scale.......you know what I have even noticed them on the red carpet.....with those evening gowns......with the right pedicure.......they can look sexy as hell......but on the other hand those hairy toes your looking at......just dont look! Just my thoughts......

I love me some good, comfy flip flops, but damn... there's a time & a place, people!
