Just like with older children, older pets are over looked when it comes to the adoption process.

Our last adoption was a kitty who was a year old. Her owner could not find an owner for her because she wasn't your typical cuddly, fuzzy, lap cat. The other kitties from the same litter were beautiful and were adopted quickly. I felt sorry for her and Squeaker has been a part of our family for 2 years.She is a great kitty!

Don't over look Poodles! They are not the foo-foo dogs that they are made out to be! My poodle and childhood friend, Pogo, was the best dog ever! He was 12 and I was 17 when he passed away. He was a great dog!
