disgraced public figures apologizing to the world

How many times have we seen a disgraced public figure apologizing to the world about how he couldn't keep his dick in his pants? MANY. TOO MANY.

What bothers me, is not so much their infidelity, but the actions, or rather Inactions of their women, ALWAYS standing there with them.All dressed conservatively, standing just to the right, and always slightly behind her man, while he disgraces her in front of the entire USA. Always press conference style, always with a highly glossed apology that doesn't seem to really say anything, except, "Look, I just fuckin disgraced HER, and SHE'S still with me.  C'mon y'all, I said I'm sorry."

What the Fuck is wrong with these women?  Have they no self-esteem?  No respect for themselves, or their reputation?  Is the money really THAT good that they feel it's "worth it" dealing with his little indiscretions???  There MUST be valid reasons why these cheaters always somehow convince their wives to "stand by them" stay with them, and suffer the humiliation together!  But what is IT?  What would make women demean themselves in such a way?  Don't gimme that 'til death do us part shit either, cause the way I see it, soon as you go stick your dick in another woman, that so-called promise you made is null and fuckin void.

There's no way in HELL that a cheatin motherfucker, husband or not, could get me to come stand next to him ANYWHERE, much less in front of video cameras while he reveals our dirty laundry for everyone to gossip over.  

Not once do I recall seeing some public figure apologizing for the "alleged" actions of his penis, without his dutiful wife standing there solemnly, almost as if she is there to share the blame with her spouse.

I wanna see one of two things next time this happens (and you KNOW it will);

1.cheatin-ass motherfucker stands up there BY HIMSELF and owns up to his own wrong-doing without Mama there to hold his hand.You sure didn't need her there to guide you in that night… what's the problem cowboy??"However they handle it from there is their own business, but I'm tired of wives standing next to cheaters as if they even DESERVE to have the love of a spouse anymore!

2.if indeed he cannot do this ONE thing without his wife, fine… bring her, but bring HER for REALS, and not some beaten down, finely dressed version of the woman you once loved, but obviously couldn't honor 24/7. Bring her with you, but if you want her participation, then be prepared.

Ladies, standing there behind that sumbitch… somberly, in your blue suit with your blank stare does nothing but make you look like a doormat. Is that the image of woman you want in our history books? If I were watching these press conferences as a little girl, would I determine that eventually that would be MY role in life? Would I someday get to play the trophy wife of a cheater who campaigned his way to fame? Fuck that!Y'all don't feel that way, we ALL know you don't… so why do you keep on "the face" for everyone?

Grab that mike and get the crowd to rally behind you.  "Fucker just stood up here and admitted he's the ultimate liar… he can't even be honest with his own spouse, the one person he promised God and everyone that he'd never do this to… do you want this man running your state, your country, your lives anymore? Neither do I!!!"

If you're not the public speaking type, then go ahead, and dress yourself all pretty, follow him up there, and as soon as his words reveal his disgrace, REACT FOR FUCKS SAKE!  It can be as simple as walking off the stage during the speech.  That in itself would speak volumes.  If you're a bit more courageous, slap that motherfucker or throw that glass of water in his face while the cameras are rolling.  [the obligatory glass of water on every speaking podium] NOBODY would blame you, and it'd do everyone some good to see that there ARE indeed repercussions for doing you wrong.

I'm not sayin go all out Jerry Springer style… but standing there silently while he humiliates you, you're doing no one a favor, except the man who loved you so much, he fucked somebody else.
