A little bit about me.
Add two children with autism, a teenager, homeschooling, two cats, a geek husband and the daily grind... you get? Me with an edge (or on the edge?!). I'm just T. My life is an open book. I view autism as a growth process and the opportunity to connect parents for support as a passion. I write. I breathe. I write some more. I write like I breathe...currently hyperventilating.
I blog at: Send Chocolate
and I started a community autism blog where anyone can write here:
Autism Sucks
You can find me all over the web, under either casadecruz or sendchocolate, depending. I am Crunchy Momma at Wishpot (mom expert) Special Needs Editor at Type-aMom.
Life is what you make it...don't take it too seriously.
Things I won't stand for.
People judging my parenting...if you don't know autism, you can't help
Discrimination of any kind
Injustice to children
Selfishness
Automated voice phone systems (you can't answer your damn phone, don't be in business)
Outsourcing (if I wanted to call India for a local problem I would have hit myself in the head with a hammer...same result)

You can be my friend if...
you treat me with respect
you tell the truth
you don't try to get ahead by cheating other people
you live what you say
In five years...
I'll still be bitching. And changing things. It's what I do. But I only bitch if it is productive. I will be writing professionally and sending my first child off to college. Around that time I will buy a small car, so look for me in a souped up convertible. Red, maybe?
