A little bit about me.

I'm a mother, an educator, a communicator and an active member of my community - not always necessarily in that order.

Things I won't stand for.

I am intolerant of family violence in any form.

I despise the havoc that HIV/AIDS is wreaking upon the "global south," and particularly Africa.

I am saddened that every family does not have the skills, resources and information needed to make smart decisions for their families.

In five years...

All children will enter school safe, healthy, cherished and ready to learn (www.unitedwaylane.org)

Families will have access to resources they need to care for their children.

HIV in Africa will be in control and in retreat.
