A little bit about me.

I'm a mom, a girlfriend, a cancer ass-kicker, and a stem cell transplant survivor.  I'm in remission, but still am not yet working, so I volunteer for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center.

 I try to raise awareness about stem cell transplants as they aren't how they show them on those stupid movies and tv shows!  If my squeamish lil' brother can donate stem cells, anyone can.

In five years...

I hope to be alive and still in total remission.  I also hope that me and my debu_sweetie are married by then and I'm living in Seattle.  At least that's what I would like to happen.  But every day is precious so I don't think much about the future.
